ANNIKA LARSSON

The Swedish artist Annika Larsson (born 1972, lives and works in New York) trains her attention on casual but forceful male gestures. The installational video works she has created over the past four years, which are seen together at a museum for the first time here, decode and disclose gender- specific and hierarchically determined behavioural patterns. Annika Larsson’s cast consists exclusively of well-dressed men whose relational networks differentiate themselves in a suggestively erotic,
